The new lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls, Nicole Scherzinger, has a history of reality show performances dating way back before The Search for The Next Doll. In 2001, Scherzinger was featured on a WB show titled Popstars where she won the chance to perform in Eden's Crush, an all-female pop band.
Obviously now she has really hit it big at the newest pussycat doll. Still Scherzinger is rumored to thinking about making more appearances on the small screen.
The new season for the Pussycat Dolls Presents is offering spots in a brand new group, Girlicious. However one could reasonably expect to see cameos of the girls due to the title of the show. Scherzinger is also talking over the possibility of appearing in a new show, Cane, starring Jimmy Smits and expected to air this fall on CBS.
The show focuses on a Miami-located family who works in the sugar industry. The producer of the new show, Jonathan Price, reports that the show will incorporate a nightclub setting into the storyline and hopes the stars could be "impromptu" performers. "These are the kind of people who would be playing in Miami and maybe they happen by this club for an after-party, and they happen to sing or perform. We hope to tie to the show."
However it is still possible that Scherzinger won't be included as part of Cane, since negotiations haven't yet been completed.
