Recently a newspaper in the UK reported that Fergie, singer of the Black Eyed Peas, would become the first celebrity to incorporate product-pushing within the lyrics of a song. Fergie has already partnered with Candies by starring in commercials and allowing the company to sell products at her shows but she denies the existence of the £2 million deal that the company claims she has agreed to. 

Fergie denies this claim even though the UK's Sunday Times got the report straight from the mouth of an executive from the singer's record label. While it's true that Fergie has a deal in place to promote the Candie's clothing line a spokesperson for Fergie stated, "But it has nothing whatsoever to do with the creation of her music."
