The SNL sketch MacGruber (a spoof of the renowned series MacGyver) had more than just gadgetry to offer audiences last weekend as the show had a Pepsi product integration.

The Pepsi Product placement was aired in between commercial spots for SNL television. In numerous occasions, MacGruber (the character) referenced the soda, the new Pepsi clothing line, and even the name change?from MacGruber to PepSuber.

The episode also featured Richard Dean Anderson?MacGyver?who criticizes MacGruber for being a sell-out.

While there have been no confirmations from Pepsi if this product placement is paid or not, it definitely didn?t hurt the soda?s exposure.

The segment featured textbook SNL humor and the crowd seemed to like it.
