In the past, product placements on online videos have had limited range. But that will no longer be a problem with the launch of Tadcast.

Tadcast is a startup company from a couple of Harvard Business School students who want to create a marketplace for product placements online. The company will match video producers with brands that are looking for product placements.

To promote its service, the company is debuting with a contest. In the contest, users will incorporate one of three products to their videos. The video that gets the most page views on YouTube will get $5,000. According to the owners, this contest is just a small part of the bigger plan, which is ?to prove that product placement with unknown online videommakers is safe.?
