CBS launches branded web series

CBS Interactive (NYSE:CBS) will be launching the network’s newest web series in February titled “Heckle-U,” which will be sponsored by P&G through product placement.



The new show will complement the network’s coverage of the much-anticipated NCAA March Madness. The 10-episode series follows the life of a slacker who takes pleasure in heckling and taunting players of the opposing team during games. It stars renowned comedian Tom Arnold and “Punk’d” actor Owen Benjamin.



“Heckle-U” is produce by Nu Media Studios, the digital production house and management company founded by Michael Kernan.
