During the Democratic National Convention, presidential candidate Barack Obama was seen drinking a bottle of Coca-Cola.

Youll be seeing more of Coca-Cola during National Conventions Democratic and Republican. In an effort to promote the product in an environment-friendly way, Coke promises to attempt to recycle 100% materials sold and consumed at National Conventions.
In charge of this advocacy is Coca-Colas recycling division, which is a part of CCE (Coca-Cola Enterprises). The group made their presence felt several nights ago, during the speeches of Edward Kennedy and Michelle Obama.
CCE volunteers were seen collecting bottles and cans from nearby trash bins. These volunteers ride on a hybrid delivery truck that reduces emissions by up to 37%. The truck also has the name Coca-Cola plastered on its side.
