A week after winning the award for best overall product placement from Brandcameo, Ford will continue their product placement campaign with the premiere of Death Race.
This remake of the 1975 film stars Jason Statham, who plays Jensen Ames. He plays a prisoner who is forced by the warden to compete in the post-industrial worlds favorite sport: the death race.
And whats he driving?
Yes, you guessed it, a modified version of the 2006 Ford Mustang GT.
While Fords sales numbers have been declining as of late, they have been proactive in pursuing strategic product placements on TV shows and movies. In particular, the Mustang (Old models and new models) has been making numerous appearances in films.
Aside from the Ford Mustang,
